A Certified Information Systems Auditor and Solution Architect with over fourteen years of active CCIE certification, Pete has led audit and security teams supporting 300+ branches and 18 data centers for a Fortune 5 company, maintaining zero security breaches and full regulatory compliance across all regions under his management. He deployed the first ACI-based data centers for Cisco cloud services and has designed security governance frameworks and compliance programs for organizations across diverse industries.

His expertise spans IT security audits and risk assessments, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001), security governance and policy development, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and enterprise risk management. He has trained and mentored numerous information security audit professionals throughout his career.

Roy Koohbor is an IT security and governance professional who helps organizations strengthen compliance, manage technology risk, and build programs that support responsible technology adoption. At Altius IT, he works with clients to navigate security, audit, and governance expectations, delivering practical solutions built around real business needs. A background in computer science gives him a strong technical foundation, while his work in governance and risk management lets him connect technical requirements to business priorities.

Roy is especially focused on helping organizations prepare for the growing impact of AI, evolving cybersecurity expectations, and ongoing regulatory change. He holds the AIGP, CRISC, and CGEIT credentials, reflecting a focus on AI governance, enterprise IT governance, and enterprise risk management.

Troy Barnum brings more than 25 years in client relations and account management to Altius IT, where he is a trusted advisor for the organizations we protect. As their primary point of contact, he helps clients navigate cybersecurity decisions with clear communication, honest guidance, and a focus on their business goals. He cuts through complexity and helps clients see past vendors who put their own interests ahead of the customer's.

Troy works closely with clients and Altius IT's engineering team to shape cybersecurity strategies that fit each organization's needs, making sure clients understand their options, stay informed throughout the process, and receive practical recommendations that strengthen their security posture.
